Abstract

There are many variables which affect learning and seem to be essential. The term feedback was originally characterized as sensory information that indicates something about the actual state of a person’s movement. Intrinsic feedback is sensory information that arises as natural consequences of producing a movement. In this kind of feedback, knowledge of results seems to be essential for learning and performance. Knowledge of results feedback has a motivation, reinforcing and guidance effect on the person and informs him about the corrections he should make in his next performance. However, this kind of feedback can also be related to association.The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of self-control and instructor-control feedback in stable (floor) and unstable surface (balance board) on static and dynamic balance of people with visual impairment. Fifty participants with the age range of 15-30 years were selected as subjects in this study. Inclusion criteria were the vision less than 20/70 and more than 20/400 and exclusion criteria were epilepsy, psychological disorders, and comorbidity. In order to homogenize the groups, pretest with 3 trials were conducted before any interventions. Then the participants were randomly categorized in 5 groups of 10 people including instructor-control feedback in unstable surface, instructor-control feedback in stable surface, self-control feedback in unstable surface, self-control feedback in stable surface, and control group. Descriptive statistics (means and 95% confidence intervals) were performed for all variables. Normal distribution of all variables was checked using the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test. A two‑way repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) (condition [2] × trial [2]) with repeated measures on both factors was used. To further analyze the responses of the groups were compared using t‑tests for independent samples. The level of significance was set at P ≤ 0.05.The results indicated that instructor-control feedback in unstable and stable surface had a significant effect on static and dynamic balance. Self-control feedback also in unstable and stable surface had a significant effect on static and dynamic balance. Self-control feedback compared to instructor-control feedback had a significant effect on static and dynamic balance. It is suggested that feedback should be utilized in different training levels to improve the balance and quality of life especially for people suffering from motor impairments.

Persian Title: بازخورد خود-كنترل و آزمونگر-كنترل بر تعادل ایستا و پویا در افراد کم بینا (در سطح پایدار "کف پوش" و ناپایدار "تخته تعادل")
Persian Abstract: هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی تاثیر بازخورد خود-كنترل و آزمونگر-كنترل در سطح پایدار (کف پوش) و ناپایدار (تخته تعادل) بر تعادل ایستا و پویا در افراد کم بینا بود. 50 نفر آزمودنی، با دامنه سنی 30-15 سال در این تحقیق شرکت کردند. معیارهای ورود در تحقیق، میزان بینایی کمتر از 70/20 و یا مساوی 400/20 و معیارهای حذف، بیماری صرع، اختلالات روانشناختی و عصبی بود. قبل از مداخله و به منظور همگن کردن گروه ها یک مرحله پیش آزمون 3 کوششی به عمل آمد و سپس با استفاده از نتایج آن افراد به پنج گروه 10 نفری، شامل گروه بازخورد آزمونگر-کنترل در سطح ناپایدار، گروه بازخورد آزمونگر-کنترل در سطح پایدار، گروه بازخورد خود-کنترل در سطح ناپایدار، گروه بازخورد خود-کنترل در سطح پایدار و گروه کنترل تقسیم شدند. نتایج نشان داد بازخورد آزمونگر-کنترل در سطح پایدار و ناپایدار بر تعادل ایستا و پویا نسبت به گروه کنترل تاثیر معناداری داشت. همچنین بازخورد خود کنترل در سطح پایدار و ناپایدار بر تعادل ایستا و پویا تاثیر معناداری داشت. بازخورد خود کنترل در سطوح پایدار و نا پایدار نسبت به بازخورد آزمونگر کنترل بر تعادل ایستا و پویا تاثیر معناداری داشت (05/0p<). نتایج پیشنهاد می کنند استفاده از بازخورد خود کنترل در سطوح تمرینی متفاوت برای یادگیری بیشتر و مطلوب تعادل و ارتقا سطح کیفی زندگی خصوصا در افراد با اختلال حرکتی مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.
