Abstract

Research Aim:In the present studywas to compare three variables of "cognitive-emotional setting, problem solving strategies and emotional inhibition" between two groups of individuals with borderline personality disorder and normal group. Research method: The statistical population of people with borderline disorder The present study consists of all people with borderline personality disorder in Ardabil province in 1398 who have voluntarily discharged from Behavioral and Emotional Problems with their own will or companions go to Mental Hospital or Psychiatric clinics or clinics and centers, in turn, constituted the normal population of individuals with no prior history Confused of mental health in the same province who volunteered to participate in the study. The sampling method was "Random Access" with a sample of 20 people from volunteer subjects. Data collection tools were Borderline Personality Questionnaire, Granfsky Cognitive-Emotional Regulatory Questionnaire, King Cassidy's Problem Solving Styles Scale, and King's and Emmons Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire. Data were analyzed by MANOVA test. Findings:The findings indicate that in the "cognitive-emotional settings" of normal individuals in reassessment and borderline individuals in expressive inhibition, in the variable of "problem solving strategies" of normal people in problem solving and borderline in Problem solving in helplessness, trust in problem solving and avoidance style, and in the variable "emotional inhibition" of normal people in positive emotion expression and intimacy, and borderline individuals in negative emotion score scored higher. Conclusion:There were significant differences in three dimensions of Cognitive-Emotional setting, Problem Solving Strategies and Emotional Inhibitionbetween individuals with borderline personality disorder and normal individuals in different dimensions.
