Abstract

Research Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate the role prosocial personality and social security in predicting social health and social-wellbeing of house wives. Research method: The statistical population was all the housewives in Tehran who participated in the classrooms in the localities. The sample was 384 students of the community using random sampling method. The research method was correlational. Data was collected using questionnaires such as peer – to – peer personality, social security, social health and social well-being of kiz . Data were analyzead by person correlation and regression analysis. Findings: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between social status and social well-being ( r = 0/167 and p<0/01 ), but there is not a significant relationship between social security and social well-being. Also there is a positive and significant relationship between social security and social wellbeing. Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between social security and social health ( r = 0/192 and p<0/01 ), between social status and social health ( r = 0/183 and p<0/05). In addition, based on the results of reression analysis simultaneously, the societal personality has the ability to predict social health and social wellbeing, as well as social security has the potential for predicting social health. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that two determinants of social health and social well-being are housewives, social personality and social security which causes that all factors that can be effective in some kind of social character and social security and try to recognize growing, or modifying or eliminating them will significantly help women’welfare and social health.
