Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to confirm role of self- verfication, in communication dynamics, family adaptability and romantic relationships with aim orientation in the women of marital conflict. This research is a correlation. The study sample consisted of all married women with marital conflict in Rasht , 1393. The sample included 186 married women in Rasht city who were selected randomly among women with marital conflict. To collect data, an Inventory of marital conflict, Self -Verification Scale, Aim Orientation Scale, Adaptability and Cohesion of the Family Scale and Communication Dynamics Scale were used. An analysis of the study data were analyzed by software Amos. The results showed that the direct path coefficients of each of the variables in the relations communication, consistency, and flexibility with aim orientation is significant and positive, but aim oriented path coefficient to romantic relationship was not significant. The indirect path coefficients of each of the variables in the communication dynamics, cohesion and romantic relationships to get them through to a positive goal orientation is significant, but the coefficient of flexibility through a circuitous route to get them to their aim orientation was not significant. These findings suggest that the communication dynamics, coordination and flexibility have a significant influence on the direction of the target. The findings in the field of family pathology and cognitive and behavioral interventions have important implications to reduce marital conflict.
