Abstract
Saturejahortensis is an annual, herbaceous and aromatic herb from Lamiaceae family. In addition to use as spice and food, it's an important medicinal plant due to having compounds such as carvacrol, thymol, limonene and p-Cymene.These compounds have antibacterial and antifungal, muscle aches, cramps and stomach tonic properties. Magnetic water useis very important in organic production of many agricultural products.Water passed through a magnetic field, is called the magnetized water.The use of magnetized water, causing physical and chemical changes that may lead to increase water uptake and plant yield and quality. This research is conducted to evaluate the effect of magnetic water on morphological, chlorophyll, carotenoids, and flavonoid content ofsaturejahortensis. The experiment carried out using three treatments (0, 0.1, 0.2tesla) and four replications in Faculty of Agriculture, university of Tabriz. The measurement includes: N absorption, electrolyte leakage and number of flowers. The results showed that magnetic water has a significant effect on uptake of nitrogen, electrolyte leakage and the number of flower in Savory.
