Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyses unhatch eggs in broiler hatchery of Namin City, Ardabil province, northwestern Iran from April 2017 to August 2017. The data were collected by frequent reference to the hatchery, recorded total of fertile eggs, hatchable eggs and unhatch eggs. In this survey, third method (unhatch eggs breakout in period end of incubation) was used for Unhatch analysis. All eggs were checked for infertility and mortality of embryo during I, II, III, IV, V and VI stages of embryonic development. During a period of 3 months, 2851 investigated eggs from 2 broiler breeder farms were unhatch eggs and average of infertility was 5.51% and average of mortality during I, II, III, IV, V and VI stages of embryonic development were 1.60%, 1.35%, 0.85% , 1.62% , 2.12% and 1.20% respectively. The results of this study showed that infertility was the most dominant problem of the unhatching eggs. Overall, percentage of infertility was higher in comparison with standard of unhatching analysis.
