Abstract

Pollution of agricultural land by heavy metals is increasing. One of the most important of these metals is cadmium and is considered as one of the environmental pollutants. In order to investigate the effect of foliar spraying of selenium concentration ( 0, 10, 20, and 40 ppm )on Savory Satureja hortensis L, under cadmium stress with levels of 0, 75, 100 and 150 ppm, a factorial experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with three replications in Mohaghegh Ardebili University at 2016. Vegetative indices such as plant height stem diameter, number of lateral branches, leaf number and fresh and dry weight of root and aerial parts were evaluated. The results showed that with increasing selenium concentration, plant height, number of lateral branches and number of leaves increased under cadmium stress conditions. the results showed that with increasing cadmium concentration (100 ppm), stem height (34.66), root fresh weight (1.018), number of lateral branches (37) and dry weight of the plant (2.85) To the lowest value and The highest stem height (50.66), stem diameter (4.27) and lateral branch (25.66) were related to the control level of cadmium and the level of 40 ppm selenium.

Persian Abstract: آلودگي زمين¬هاي كشاورزي توسط فلزات سنگین رو به افزايش است. یکی از مهم¬ترین این فلزات کادمیم بوده و به عنوان یکی از آلاینده¬هاي محیطی به شمار می¬رود. به منظور بررسی اثر سلنیم با سطوح غلظت صفر ، 10، 20، 40پی¬پی¬ام بر گیاه مرزه(Satureja hortensis L.)، تحت تنش کادمیم باسطوح صفر، 75، 100 و 150پی¬پی¬ام، یک آزمایش فاکتوریل در غالب طرح کاملا تصادفی و با سه تکرار در شرایط گلخانه¬ای انجام گرفت، سپس شاخص¬های رویشی مانند ارتفاع گیاه، قطر ساقه، تعداد شاخه جانبی، تعداد برگ و وزن تر و خشک ریشه و اندام¬های هوایی مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان می¬دهد که با افزایش غلظت کادمیم(100پی¬پی¬ام) میزان ارتفاع ساقه(66/34)، وزن تر ریشه(08/1)، تعداد شاخه جانبی(37) و وزن خشک گیاه(85/2) به کمترین مقدار می¬رسد و بیشترین میزان ارتفاع ساقه(66/50)، قطر ساقه(07/4) و شاخه جانبی(66/25) مربوط به سطح شاهد کادمیم و سطح 40پی¬پی¬ام سلنیم می¬باشد.
