Abstract

Polypyrrole-epoxy and montmorillonite-epoxy coatings have been deposited on the aluminum electrodes by dipping method and protection performance against corrosion of these coatings is evaluated by using open circuit potential monitoring, polarization and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) techniques in 3.5% NaCl solution. The corrosion study results have shown that the modification of Al corrosion behavior at presence of PPy/epoxy and M.M.T/epoxy coatings. Also Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), EDX, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysises have been done.
