Abstract

Epoxy resins turned out to have a variety of application in different industries. Epoxy resin is widely used the matrix of composite and electronic components owing to its excellent adhesive and dielectric properties. DGEBA has been the most important epoxy resin system because of its fluidity and physical characteristic after curing [1-2]. DSC which measures the heat flow from the reacting system is extensively used to study curing reactions [3-4]. In this study, an attempt has been made to clarify the effect of diffusion on the kinetics of epoxy cure in the presence of BaCO3.
