Abstract

In This work, A new aromatic diacid containing azo chromophore has been synthesized from barbituric acid in a diazitization process and were characterized by FT-IR, UV-visible, and spectroscopy. The effect of pH and different organic solvents on the absorption of the azo dye was investigated. A model reaction was used to evaluate the reactivity of monomer toward amine groups and the reaction conditions. The synthesis of the related model compound was carried out by the reaction of paratoluidine amine with azo dye monomer under Yamazaki’s conditions, which lead to the formation of a new diamide and was characterized by FT-IR, and spectroscopy. Then a series of aromatic polyamides were prepared by polycondensation of azoic monomer with different aromatic diamines in direct phosphorylation reaction conditions. The polyamides were obtained in good to high yield with the inherent viscosities in the range of 0.18-0.44 dl/g. The polymer characterization was performed by FT-IR spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that the synthesized polyamides had good thermal stability. The solubility and film forming ability of the polyamides were also considered. All of the resulting films exhibited shattered and brittle nature.

Persian Abstract: در کار حاضر، ابتدا يک دي¬اسيد آروماتيک حاوي گروه رنگزاي آزويي از عامل کوپلاژ باربيتوريک اسيد طي فرآيند ديازوتاسيون سنتز و توسط روش¬هاي اسپکتروسکوپي FT-IR، UV-visible، و شناسايي شد. اثر pH و حلال¬هاي آلي مختلف روي جذب گروه آزويي مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. واکنش مدل به منظور بررسي واکنش¬پذيري مونومر با گروه¬هاي آميني و بررسي شرايط واکنش، مورد استفاده و بررسي قرار گرفت. سنتز ترکيب مدل مربوطه توسط واکنش آمين پاراتولوئيدين با دي¬اسيد آزويي منجر به تهيه¬ي يک دي¬آميد جديد شد که توسط روش¬هاي اسپکتروسکوپي FT-IR، UV-visible، و شناسايي شد. سپس يک سري از پلي¬آميدهاي آروماتيک توسط پليمريزاسيون تراکمي مستقيم مونومر آزويي با دي¬آمين¬هاي آروماتيک مختلف با استفاده از واکنش فسفريلاسيون يامازاکي تهيه شدند. پلي¬آميدهاي به دست آمده داراي راندمان بالا و گرانروي دروني در محدوده¬ي dl/gr 44/0-18/0 بودند. شناسايي پليمرهاي مربوطه با استفاده از روش اسپکتروسکوپي FT-IR، آناليز حرارتي وزن سنجي (TGA) و گرماسنجي پويشي تفاضلي (DSC) انجام شد. همچنين حلاليت پليمرهاي مربوطه در حلال¬هاي آلي مختلف و قابليت تشکيل فيلم آنها در دو حلال آلي DMAC و NMP مورد بررسي و مطالعه قرار گرفت. فيلم¬هاي تشکيل شده از پلي¬آميدهاي سنتز شده در اين پروژه، چين¬دار و همگي شکننده بودند که اين ناشي از ساختار سخت و آروماتيک آنها مي¬باشد.
