Abstract

The supplement and the investigation of the computriezd instrument for scholastic aptitude in first grade high school student was the main aim in at the present stydy. The research methiod was descriptive and psychometric. The statistical society of this research was the all of student that engage in first and second high schools in Ardabil city (N= 3000 student). The sample size was 840 student ( 600 students in first grade and 240 student in second students). The raw data were analyzied by factor analysis , dicrminant analysis and multiple analysis of variance. In this test there were seven subtests included abstract reasoning, spatial ability, reasoning on picture , numerical reasoning, mental rotation, verbal comprehension, verbal fluency in each subtests 15 items. The results indicated that the test in 67/9 percent successfully discriminate the students of mathematic- physic and ….. and experimental science , but this result is not soficeintly in human science studnes. The corobach,s alpha coefficient was 0/87/5 and its reliability with test- retest was 0/75 and the validity of the test with syncronoth method was 0/70/5 . also, the results revealed that the boys in comparision with the girls students are better in subtests abstract reasoning, ,spatial ability, reasoning on picture , numerical reasoning and mental rotation ( P≤0/001) and the girls in comparision with the boys students are better in subtests verbal comprehension and verbal fluency (P≤0.05).
