Abstract

In this work, new aromatic diamine (POBD) containing pyridine ring and 1,3,4-oxadiazole moiety has been synthesized. Poly(amic acid) was obtained upon the reaction of POBD with BTDA in DMAc and then converted into corresponding polyimide through a thermal and a chemical treatment. The synthesis and characterization of the related model compound were also carried out by the reaction of POBD and trimellitic anhydride in glacial acetic acid, which lead to the formation of new dimide-diacide. The inherent viscosity of prepared polyimides obtained from thermal and chemical imidization were measured in concentrated sulfuric acid. Polyimide obtained from thermal method showed higher inherent viscosity. Solubility test results of the poly(amic acid) and the polyimide showed that the polymers are soluble in polar aprotic solvents. In the next part, polyimide nanocomposites were prepared by solution intercalation method with different amount of Cloisited 20A. The obtained Nanocomposites were studied by IR spectroscopy and Changing of interlayer d-spacing of the clay in the nanocomposite was investigated by X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD). Solvent uptake of the polyimide nanocomposites was also investigated. The maximum solvent adsorption was observed for DMSO and solvent uptake capacity was decreased by increasing the clay content. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) study shows that the Tg increases with increasing of clay content. Surface morphology of the %1 nanocomposite and pure polyimide was studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).

Persian Abstract: در کار حاضر، ابتدا دي¬آمين آروماتيک POBD حاوي حلقه¬هاي پيريدين و 1،3،4- اگزاديازول سنتز شد. دي¬آمين POBD به¬دست آمده با دي¬انيدريد BTDA در حلال DMAc به منظور تشکيل محلول پلي¬آميک¬اسيد واکنش داده شد. مرحله ايميدي شدن و تشکيل پلي¬ايميد، به دو روش شيميايي و حرارتي انجام شد. سنتز و بررسي ترکيب مدل توسط واکنش POBD و تري¬مليتيک انيدريد در استيک¬اسيد گلاسيال انجام شد و دي¬ايميد- دي¬اسيد جديد سنتز شد. ويسکوزيته ذاتي پلي ايميدهاي تهيه شده بروش حرارتي و شيميايي، اندازه¬گيري و با يکديگر مقايسه شدند. پليمر به¬دست آمده از روش حرارتي، ويسکوزيته بالاتري داشت. بررسي تست حلاليت پلي¬آميک¬اسيد و پلي¬ايميد تهيه شده نشان داد که اين پليمرها فقط در حلال¬هاي آپروتيک قطبي محلولند. در مرحله بعد، نانوکامپوزيت¬هاي پلي¬ايميد جديد با درصدهاي وزني متفاوت با روش درج¬شدن محلول تهيه شدند و با طيف¬سنجي IR و پراش پرتو ايکس بررسي شدند. تغيير فضاي بين¬لايه¬اي خاک¬رس توسط XRD مطالعه شد. جذب حلال نانوکامپوزيت¬هاي پلي¬ايميد با محتواي کلويزيت A20 متنوع بررسي شد. حلال¬هاي آپروتيک قطبي، بيشترين جذب را نشان دادند. ميزان جذب حلال با افزايش مقدار خاک¬رس در اين حلال¬ها کاهش چشمگيري رانشان مي¬دهد. رفتار حرارتي نمونه¬ها با DSC مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت و مشاهده شد که با افزايش مقدار خاک¬رس، دماي تبديل شيشه¬اي افزايش مي¬يابد. مرفولوژي سطح نانوکامپوزيت 1 درصد نسبت به پلي¬ايميد خالص، توسط ميکروسکوپ الکتروني پويشي (SEM) بررسي شد.
