Abstract
Trichogramma brassicae Bezdenko is egg parasitoid of Indianmeal moth, Plodia interpunctella (Hubner) and Ephestia kuehniella Zeller. In this research in order to study of functional response of T. brassicae on eggs of Indianmeal moth and Mill moth during no-choice experiments, different egg densities of two hosts were seperatly offered to one female of parasitoid wasp for 24 h. In no-choice experiments, T. brassicae exhibited a type III functional response to densities of eggs of two hosts. Attack rate as a function of initial egg densities (a= bN0) for T. brassicae on eggs of Indianmeal moth and Mill moth were estimated with b= 0.008 and b= 0.011 respectively and handling time were calculated 1.17 and 0.9 h, respectively. In choice experiments, combined egg densities of Indianmeal moth and Mill moth, were offered to one female of parasitoid for 24 h. T. brassicae exhibited a type II functional response on egg densities of Mill moth in present of Indianmeal moth eggs and type II functional response on egg densities of Indianmeal moth in present of Mill moth eggs. Attack rate (a) of T. brassicae on the eggs of Indian meal moth and Mill moth were calculated 0.004 and 0.006 h-1 respectively, and handling time were calculated 4.24 and 1.59 h respectively. Also, In this research, we study the effect of female parasitoid's age in their efficiency, forty eggs of Indianmeal moth and Mill moth were seperatly offered to one female of parasitoid. Eggs in each laboratory tube was renewed every 24h until the death of the parasitoid female. Also to study the effect of egg age of two hosts in parasitoid efficiency, the four age groups of egg of two hosts, including one, two, three and four day old egg baches of 40 were seperatly offered to one female of parasitoid for 24 h. The results of these experiments revealed that the number of parasitized eggs and emerged offsprings of parasitoid were decreased significantly with increasing of parasitoid age and hosts egg’s age. These results can be useful in release program of this parasitoid for control of storage pests.

Persian Abstract: | زنبور Trichogramma brassicae Bezdenko، از پارازيتوييدهاي تخم¬هاي شب¬پره هندي، Plodia interpunctella (Hubner)، و بيد آرد، Ephestia kuehniella Zeller، مي¬باشد. در اين تحقيق به¬منظور مطالعه واکنش تابعي زنبور T. brassicae روي تخم¬هاي شب¬پره هندي و بيد آرد طي آزمايش¬هاي بدون حق انتخاب تراکم¬هاي مختلف تخم دو ميزبان به¬طور جداگانه در معرض يک فرد ماده پارازيتوييد به مدت 24 ساعت قرار داده شدند. در اين آزمايش¬ها واکنش تابعي زنبور T. brassicae روي تخم¬هاي هر دو گونه ميزبان از نوع III تعيين شد. نرخ حمله به صورت تابعي از تراکم اوليه تخم (a= bNo) روي تخم¬هاي شب¬پره هندي و بيد آرد با مقدار b به¬ترتيب 011/0 و 008/0 و زمان دستيابي پارازيتوييد به¬ترتيب h9/0 وh 17/1 به¬دست آمد. طي آزمايش¬هاي با حق انتخاب، تراکم¬هاي ترکيبي تخم دو ميزبان در معرض يک فرد ماده پارازيتوييد قرار داده شدند. واکنش¬ تابعي زنبور روي تخم¬هاي بيد آرد در حضور تخم¬هاي شب¬پره هندي از نوع II و واکنش تابعي زنبور روي تخم¬هاي شب¬پره هندي در حضور تخم¬هاي بيد آرد نيز از نوع II تعيين شدند. نرخ حمله زنبور روي تخم¬هاي شب¬پره هندي و بيد آرد به¬ترتيب h-1 006/0 وh-1 004/0 و زمان دستيابي پارازيتوييد به¬ترتيبh 59/1 وh 24/4 به¬دست آمد. همچنين در اين تحقيق براي مطالعه تاثير سن زنبورهاي T. brassicae در کارايي پارازيتيسم آن، تعداد 40 تخم شب¬پره هندي و بيد آرد به¬ طور جداگانه در معرض يک فرد ماده پارازيتوييد قرار داده شدند. تا زمان مرگ زنبور ماده هر 24 ساعت يکبار کاغذ حاوي تخم داخل لوله آزمايش تعويض مي¬شد. همچنين براي مطالعه تاثير سن تخم¬هاي ميزبان در کارايي پارازيتوييد چهار گروه سني تخم¬هاي دو ميزبان شامل تخم¬هاي يک، دو، سه و چهار روزه به تعداد 40 عدد در معرض يک فرد زنبور ماده قرار داده شدند. نتايج اين آزمايش¬ها نشان داد که با افزايش سن زنبورهاي ماده و نيز سن تخم¬هاي هر دو ميزبان، تعداد تخم¬هاي¬ پارازيته شده و تعداد نتاج ظاهر شده پارازيتوييد از تخم¬هاي هر دو گونه ميزبان به طور معني¬داري کاهش يافت. اين نتايج مي¬تواند در برنامه رهاسازي اين پارازيتوييد در کنترل آفات انباري مفيد باشد. | ||||
