Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of two aerobic exercise methods (interval & continuous) on the blood pressure and weight in obese men, there for 40 high school teachers of Ghorveh Darjazin district of Hamedan province were selected randomly as participants, and were placed in interval & continuous groups (N=20) Procedure: The participants did aerobic activities in two types of interval & continuous for 8 weeks, three times a week and 20 to 30 minuets during each session. The blood pressure, weight and body fat were measured before and after 8 weeks exercise. In order to analysis and comparison, dependent (interrelated) and independent t-test were used. Results: The results showed that the participants blood pressure decreased significantly in both groups (interval & continuous). The weight and body fat in participants decreased in both groups. A significant difference was found in both exercise methods (interval & continuous) on the weight and body fat participants. No significant difference about the effect of both exercise methods (interval & continuous) on the blood pressure participants was seen; but the reduction of blood pressure in the interval group was more than the continuous group. So the interval exercise with its high variety, more merits, and less fatigue, sounds to be a suitable method for loosing weight & decreasing the blood pressure of inactive, obese people, and it (interval method) should be taken into more consideration.

Persian Abstract: هدف از اين پژوهش ، مقايسه تاثير دو روش تمريني هوازي ( تداومي و تناوبي ) بر وزن و فشار خون مردان چاق بود. به همين منظور ، 40 نفر از دبيران منطقه قروه درجزين استان همدان به طور تصادفي انتخاب شدند و در دو گروه 20 نفره تداومي و تناوبي قرار گرفتند. روش اجرا: آزمودني ها در طي 8 هفته تحت فعاليت هوازي به دو شكل تداومي و تناوبي ، 3 جلسه در هفته و جلسه اي 20 الي 30 دقيقه قرار گرفتند. فشار خون ، وزن و درصد چربي آزمودني ها قبل و بعد از تمرين هوازي 8 هفته اي اندازه گيري شد.براي تجزيه و تحليل و مقايسه داده هاي آماري از t همبسته و t مستقل استفاده شد. نتايج: نتايج نشان داد كه فشار خون در هر دو گروه تداومي و تناوبي به طور معني داري كاهش يافت . وزن ودرصد چربي آزمودني ها در هر دو گروه تداومي وتناوبي به طور معني داري كاهش يافت. تفاوت معني داري در تاثير دو روش تمريني تداومي و تناوبي بر وزن ودرصد چربي آزمودني ها مشاهده شد. تفاوت معني داري در تاثير دو روش تمريني تداومي و تناوبي بر فشار خون آزمودني ها مشاهده نشد ، ولي كاهش فشار خون نيز در گروه تناوبي بيشتر از تداومي بود. به نظر مي رسد تمرين تناوبي با تنوع و مزيت هاي بيشتر و خستگي كمتر مي تواند روش مناسبي براي كاهش وزن و فشار خون در افراد بي تحرك و چاق باشد و بايد بيشتر مورد توجه قرار گيرد.
