Abstract

Flood distribution can affect the sedimentation on the soil surface and this in its turn subjects the soil to changes according to the quality and the quantity of the flood-borne minerals. The objective of the current study aims at the survey of the flood distribution on some of the soil physical and chemical characteristics (clay percentage, sand percentage, soil saturation percentage (SP), acidity (PH), electrical conductivity (EC)) has been performed in the bozijan district watershed located in Mahallat County. In the current study it has been made use of three flood distribution tapes and in each of the tapes there has been performed endeavors to randomly sample the 0-45 cm of the soil depth and a control site in the vicinity of the tapes which consists of three upstream, downstream and middle stream and these three areas have been stochastically and haphazardly sampled and then the results have been analyzed in the fully randomized plot. the results obtained from the research indicated that there exists more sand in the control area in respect to the flood distribution area with the probability level of 1%, also, clay percentage, electrical conductivity and the soil saturation percentage is more in control area in comparison with the flood distribution area and it is in the probability level of 1% as well. Keywords: flood distribution, physical and chemical characteristics, sedimentation

Persian Title:
Persian Abstract: .
