Abstract

In order to cluster analysis and yield correlations and some agronomic traits in 24 pure lines and sesame cultivars in Moghan region, an experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications in Moghan region in 2017. The experiment was performed using 23 top pure lines selected from F6 generations in different regions of Iran and local Oltan control. By clustering, cultivars and lines were divided into 3 groups. In the first group, most cultivars and lines with average yield of 1577.73 g / plant were in control group. The second group had the lowest yield line 10 (663.81 g) The third group with lines No. 7 and 12 had the highest and average yield (3006.79 g / plant). Based on correlation analysis, it was observed that grain yield was positively and significantly correlated with flowering time, ripening of 10 capsules and stem diameter, and with capsule length and 1000-seed weight. Therefore, lines 7 and 12 are recommended by the conditions of this experiment.
