Abstract

In order to study the yield and yield components of Sesame promising lines under Moghan climate, an experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with four replications in Moghan region in 2017. In order to carry out the test, the selected lines (14 lines) were considered as the control as well as the highest available cultivar (Oltan). The results showed that number of flowers per axle and length of capsule at the probability level of 1%, number of capsules and grain yield were significant at 5% probability level. The weight of 1000 seeds was not significant. Line No. 1, with the highest capsule length and statistically with line No. 3 in the most common and top-notch group. Line 9 is the least amount of this attribute. Line number 3 has the highest and line number 10 has the lowest grain yield.
