Abstract

This study was carried out in a research farm of Agricultural Research Center of Agricultural and Natural Resources of Ardebil province in a randomized complete block design with 8 treatments and 3 replications. The experimental treatments consisted of 7 bean hop lines along with control cultivars of the area (Barekat cultivar). The results of analysis of variance showed that the number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, dry weight of 100 seeds and protein percentage of bean seeds were affected by the effect of cultivars. The highest number of pods per plant was obtained for G-FABA-145 and G-FABA-133 cultivars and the lowest number of pods per plant recorded for G-FABA-20 and G-FABA-1-1 cultivars. The results showed that G-FABA-145 and G-FABA-133 cultivars had the highest number of seeds per pod. The results showed that G-FABA-1-2, G-FABA-145 and G-FABA-262 cultivars had the highest dry weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that G-FABA-145 had the highest grain protein percentage among treatments.
