Abstract

Food security is one of the main factors in ensuring individual and social health and contributes to the development of society. At present, with the emergence of fatal pesticide and fertilizer losses, people around the world are moving away from chemical-based agriculture. They have turned to organic farming based on bio-fertilizers and natural defenses against pests. Farming is one of the strategies for sustainable agriculture that relies on natural methods of pest and disease control, and the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides, chemical fertilizers, hormones and antibiotics as possible is prohibited. In the agricultural production of plant residues, green manure, manure and compost prescribed, hence addressing organic farming principles and methods for the production of healthy food, free of pesticides and fertilizers is the ultimate goal the consumer health care with a view to protecting the environment and nature is the ecological relationships. In this paper, by analyzing the characteristics and challenges of organic farming to the concerns expressed.
