Abstract
Non-alcoholic fatty liver includes simple liver steatosis, cirrhosis, and liver carcinoma. Due to the severe and irreversible complications of advanced disease, timely treatment, and in particular treatment with herbal medicines, can be very important..The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of coffea Arabica on biochemical parameters , lipid and fatty liver histology in rats.Twenty-eight male rats weighting approximately 300 g were randomly assigned to standard feeding diets (7 heads) and high fat diet (21 heads). After eight weeks of treatment,in control group plus seven of high-fat recipients diet, fatty liver was confirmed and biochemical parameters and histopathological changes in the liver were evaluated. The remaining mice were again fed to high-fat diets with coffea Arabica at 500 mg / kg daily for 28 days, and a high-fat diet containing atorvastatin 30 mg / kg daily for 28 days, was treated. In the end, serum lipoprotein parameters, serum lipid changes and histopathological changes in the liver were evaluated. Eight weeks of high fat diet resulted in hypercholesterolemia, hyperglycemia, and liver function impairment. Significant increase in liver enzymes activity was observed in serum. The treatment with coffea Arabica significantly reduced the parameters of liver tissue damage in the serum. Histological results confirmed the changes made by the high-fat diet and the protective effects of coffea Arabica. According to the results, coffea Arabica as a herbal medicine in comparison with atorvastatin can have an more therapeutic effect on the non-alcoholic fatty liver.

| Persian Abstract: | کبد چرب غیر الکلی از استئاتوز کبدی ساده تا سیروز و کارسینوم کبدی را شامل می شود. با توجه به عوارض شدید و برگشت ناپذیر بیماری در مراحل پیشرفته، درمان به موقع و به ویژه درمان با داروهای گیاهی می تواند بسیار حائز اهمیت باشد. هدف از مطالعه حاضر بررسی تأثیر قهوه سبز بر پارامترهای بیوشیمیایی و میزان چربی و هیستولوژی کبدچرب در موش های صحرایی بود.ابتدا 28 سر موش صحرایی نر با وزن تقریبی 300 گرم به صورت تصادفی به گروه های تغذیه ای با جیره استاندارد (7 سر) و تغذیه با رژیم پرچرب (21 سر) تقسیم و پس از هشت هفته تیمار، گروه شاهد به همراه 7سر از گروه دریافت کننده غذای پر چرب برای تأیید کبد چرب کشته و پارامترهای بیوشیمیایی و تغییرات هیستوپاتولوژیکی کبد حیوانات ارزیابی شد. باقیمانده موش ها مجددا به دو گروه تغذیه ای با رژیم غذایی پرچرب همراه با قهوه سبز به میزان500mg/kg به صورات روزانه به مدت 28 روز و گروه تغذیه ای با رژیم غذایی پرچرب همراه با آتوروواستاتین به میزان mg/kg30 به صورات روزانه به مدت 28 روز تحت درمان قرار گرفتند. در پایان پارامترهای سرمی آسیب بافت کبد، تغییرات لیپیدی سرم و تغییرات هیستوپاتولوژیک کبد مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. هشت هفته تیمار با غذای پرچرب باعث بروز هیپرکلسترولمی، هیپرگلیسیریدمی و اختلال در عملکرد کبد شد. همچنین افزایش معنی دار فعالیت آنزیم های کبد در سرم مشاهده شد. تیمار با قهوه سبز موجب کاهش معنی دار میزان پارامترهای آسیب بافت کبد در سرم گردید. نتایج بافت شناسی هم تغییرات ایجاد شده توسط جیره پرچرب و اثرات حفاظتی قهوه سبز را مورد تأیید قرار داد. با توجه به نتایج به دست آمده، قهوه سبز به عنوان یک داروی گیاهی در مقایسه با آتوروواستاتین می تواند اثرات درمانی موثر و بدون عوارضی را نسبت به داروی شیمیایی در کبد چرب غیر الکلی ایجاد کند. |
