Abstract
Worldwide, large amounts of herbicides are used for weed control. Problems due to the use of these herbicides have forced researchers to find more suitable methods for management of weeds. In order to investigate the role of allelopathic effect of medicinal plants extract velvetleaf completely randomized design experiment was conducted in 2019. Medicinal plants were included: thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), peppermint (Mentha longifoliaL.) and control (distilled water). The results showed that all the extracts reduced the germination percentage, seedling length and fresh weight significantly compared to the control. Thyme extract reduced the most extract percentage and rate of germination, the length and fresh weight of velvetleaf. The results showed that in fields which has velvetleaf as a predominant weed can use thyme as a rotation crop.

| Persian Abstract: | سالانه مقادیر زیادی علف¬کش شیمیایی برای کنترل علف¬های هرز در جهان مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. مشکلات ناشی از این علف کش ها سبب جستجوی راه هایی مناسب تر برای مدیریت علف¬های¬هرز گردیده است. به منظور بررسی نقش اثر دگر آسیبی عصاره گیاهان دارویی بر روی علف¬هرز گاوپنبه آزمایشی به صورت طرح کاملاً تصادفی با سه تکرار در سال 1397 اجرا شد. گیاهان دارویی شامل: آویشن، رازیانه، بابونه، نعناع و شاهد (آب مقطر) بود. نتایج نشان داد که همه عصاره¬های مورد استفاده درصد جوانه¬زنی، طول گیاهچه و وزن تر گیاهچه گاوپنبه را نسبت به شاهد کاهش معنی¬داری دادند. عصاره¬ی گیاه آویشن بیش از همه عصاره¬ها درصد و سرعت جوانه¬زنی، طول گیاهچه و وزن تر گیاهچه گاوپنبه را کاهش داد. نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد در مزارعی که علف هرز گاوپنبه غالب است می¬توان در برنامه های تناوب از آویشن نیز استفاده کرد. |
