Abstract

Rural women in most societies constitute major force of agricultural work. Importance of women issue in Iran especially in rural areas on the one hand is faced with limitation of resources and manufacturing resources; and on the other hand with rapid population growth and mass of the jobless people, in achieving to rural development. Rural women work alongside men in all stages of agricultural crops and livestock production. In general, development is a multi-dimensional process with various economic, social, political and cultural aspects; and rural women's participation in this process has been an active and effective participation. Women in our country play a significant role in rural society Due to the unfavorable social, economic, cultural conditions and the extent of their participation in various economic, productive and services activities is in high level. The most important aspect of this participation has been its economic dimension for rural women. Many development economists believe that what ultimately determine the characteristics and trends of economic and social development is human resources of a country and not its capital and natural resources. As half of the human resources, women are not only the goal and purpose of any kind of development but also they are considered as a factor of the economic and social development. In this article it is tried to provide a comprehensive picture of the status of rural women as well as recommended strategies to promote rural life and women's role in and rural development.

Persian Abstract: زنان روستايي در اكثر جوامع، نيروي عمده كار كشاورزي را تشكيل مي‏دهند. اهميت موضوع زنان در ايران به ويژه مناطق روستايي از يک سو با محدوديت امکانات ، منابع توليدي و از سوي ديگر با رشد سريع جمعيت و انبوه بيکاران در فرآيند دستيابي به رشد و توسعه روستايي مواجه مي باشد زنان روستايي در تمامي مراحل توليد محصولات کشاورزي ، توليدات دامي دوشادوش مردان به فعاليت مي پردازند به طور کلي ، توسعه فرآيندي است چند بعدي و داراي ابعاد مختلف اقتصادي ، اجتماعي ، سياسي و فرهنگي ... می باشد مشارکت زنان روستايي در اين فرآيند ، مشارکتي فعالانه و تاثير گذار يوده است زنان روستايي در كشور ما با توجه به موقعيت نامناسب اجتماعي، اقتصادي، فرهنگي، نقش قابل توجهي در جامعه روستايي بازي مي‌نمايند و ميزان نقش و مشاركت آنها در بسياري از فعاليت‌هاي اقتصادي، توليدي و خدماتي در سطح بالايي است مهمترين جنبه اين مشارکت تاکنون بعد اقتصادي آن براي زنان روستايي بوده است.اكثر اقتصاددانان توسعه معتقدند آنچه در نهايت ويژگي و روند توسعه اقتصادي و اجتماعي را تعيين مي كند، منابع انساني يك كشور است و نه سرمايه و منابع طبيعي آن. به عنوان نيمي از منابع انساني، زنان نه تنها موضوع و هدف هر نوع توسعه اي هستند بلكه عامل پيشبرد اهداف توسعه اقتصادي و اجتماعي نيز به شمار مي آيند. در هر حال در این نوشتار سعی می شود، تصویر جامعی از جایگاه زنان روستایی و همچنین راهكارهاي پيشنهادي جهت ارتقاء سطح زندگي روستايي و نقش زنان در توسعه روستایی ارائه شود
