Abstract

The purpose of this study was study of agriculture students interested in their field of study. Survey Methodology was implemented in this applied research. The statistical population consisted of students in the College of Agriculture, University of Zanjan (N= 709). The sample size was estimated by using Cochran's formula (n=109). Samples were selected by stratified random method. The research tool was a questionnaire. Validity of the instrument confirmed by a panel of faculty members and information science experts and the reliability was gained through a pilot test with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient 0.84. The results of the research showed the results of this research showed that students' interest in agriculture is higher than medium. Most Student Interest was in the field of studying in university, the tendency to practice agricultural practice and willingness to take risky activities. Also students have less than an average interest in agricultural jobs.
