Abstract

The main objective of the present study was to investigate the level of farmers' tendency to implement organic farming principles at farm level and to find the most important factors affecting their tendency towards healthy production. The survey was conducted as a survey. The statistical population of the study consisted of 523 farmers in the village of Tamoogh, Saqez County, Kordestan province. The sample size was determined using the Cochran formula (n=118). The questionnaire was provided to the subjects through simple random sampling. The formal validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a research committee and a group of experienced experts on organic and healthy products, and its reliability was confirmed by pilot test and Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α = 0.845). The findings showed that from the viewpoint of the majority of respondents (75.4%), farmers tended to implement organic farming principles at low to moderate levels; Also, nine factors derived from factor analysis of the tendency of farmers to implement organic farming principles in general account for 73.623 percent of the total variance of the collection.
