Abstract
The use of information technology systems can be found in many sectors, including agriculture. Traditionally, agriculture is only dependent on human labor and is limited to mechanical equipment and machinery. The application of advanced technologies such as robotics, wireless technology, global positioning system (GPS), geographic information system (GIS), database management system (DBMS) has recently been seen in the agricultural sector. Given the rapid growth of traditional agriculture, precision farming is essential for the use of information technology systems in agriculture. Given that the use of information technology systems in agriculture has increased speed, precision and risk reduction, governments must reduce this gap by reducing the digital divide in farmers and rural areas and making the right decisions about IT systems. To empower farmers to optimize. In this paper, some of the applications of information technology in agriculture have been investigated.

| Persian Abstract: | استفاده از سیستم های فناوری اطلاعات در بسیاری از بخش ها از جمله کشاورزی دیده میشود. به طور سنتی کشاورزی تنها وابسته به نیروی کار انسانی است و از تجهیزات مکانیکی و ماشین آلات بطور محدودی استفاده می گردد. کاربرد تکنولوژی های پیشرفته از جمله رباتیک، تکنولوژی بی سیم، سیستم موقعیت یاب جهانی (GPS)، سیستم اطلاعات جغرافیایی (GIS)، سیستم مدیریت پایگاه داده (DBMS)، اخیر در بخش کشاورزی دیده شده است. با توجه به رشد سریع کشاورزی سنتی به سوی کشاورزی دقیق استفاده از سامانه های فناوری اطلاعات در بخش کشاورزی ضروری است. با توجه به اینکه استفاده از سامانه های فناوری اطلاعات در کشاورزی باعث افزایش سرعت، دقت و کاهش خطر و ریسک شده است دولتها باید با کاهش شکاف دیجیتالی در کشاورزان و مناطق روستایی و تصمیم گیری های صحیح در مورد سامانه های فناوری اطلاعات، از این ابزار جهت توانمندسازی کشاورزان به طور بهینه استفاده کنند. در مقاله حاضر برخی از کاربردهای فناوری اطلاعات در بخش کشاورزی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. |
