Abstract

Nazik al-Malaika, as one of the pioneers of the new poetry in Arabic literature, has a lot of opinions and views on literary criticism such as new poetry, verbal poetry, stories and plays, which have been considered by various belletrists and critics. One of the works that criticizes the comparative view of Nazik al-Malaika's ideas is Nazik al-Malaika Al-Naqida's book by Abdolreza Ali, written in four seasons. Considering the importance of thin criticism in the field of vertical poetry, story and play, this thesis is dedicated to the translation of the third and fourth chapters of the book. According to the method of the author, in the review and adaptation of the Nazik al-Malaika critique of the language, the method of translation is communicative.In some cases, however, semantic translation has also been used. In this thesis, which consists of two main parts, in addition to the translation of two chapters of Nazik al-Malaika's book, including her critique and the translation of poems, stories and plays, some of the abilities necessary for the translation profession have been dealt with, some of which (theoretical foundations of research) is presented. This section deals with issues such as translation and its importance, translation history, some definitions and translation theories, some translation problems and steps, and some features of a good translation, and finally, the review and translation of Nazik al-Malaika's critical views. In the other part, the translation of these two chapters (third and fourth chapters) is presented in the book, which forms the essence of the thesis. It is clear that Nazik al-Malaika is not a single approach poet and critic, and has devoted four chapters to poetry topics including emotional poetry, thoughtful poetry, human poetry, and occasional poetry.
