Abstract

Cinema is one of the most important art form among the very important industrial art forms which dominated the 20th-century art life. A form that has peaked from its light beginning in open-air urban areas to become a billion-dollar industry and the most famous and enjoying contemporary art. this paper, at the first step studied the role of recognition and identity revival in promoting qualitative architecture and then studied historical and cultural aspects of Ardabil city. Thus, the meaning and concept of identity was examined and categorized from the viewpoint of different experts, and by analyzing the data and adapting them to what was achieved as the identifying schemas of the Iranian architecture, the elements, identity schemas and indexes of Islamic Iranian architecture were re-known in this field and categorized. At the end, schemas were gathered as design guides, and had been included in cinema design. Creating visual unity, using nature in design, harmony, unity in plurality, color, light and geography are the characteristics of the Iranian-Islamic architecture that has been used in the design of the cinema complex. The method of research is analytical-descriptive and the data collecting achieved by library method and clustered sampling of experts. Keywords: cinema, architecture, identity, iranian-islamic
