Abstract
This research explores image schemas in the proverbs of Azerbijani language within the framework of cognitive semantics, In so doing, I referred to two compilations of common Azerbijani proverbs in Ardabil region, by Haji Sattari (2014) and Novin (2009) and picked out a corpus of 3200 proverbs including different image schemas as the research sample. The purpose of this research is to analyze the proverbs based on schematic model introduced by Evans and Green (2006), to study their function, and concepts and themes conveyed by them. The descriptive-inductive analysis of the data showed that proverbs contained the general kinds of image schemas and most of the subclasses introduced by Evans and Green (2006). I recognized space, containment, locomotion, force, unity, balance, identity and existence schemas in the above-mentioned proverbs. The research findings indicated that containment schema (by 25.29%) and force schema (by 22.08%) had the highest frequency. Moreover, since image schemas derive from the human's interaction with the world, they involve different concepts associated with human beings. In the corpus of Azerbijani language proverbs including schemas, body concept (by 18.34%) and animal concept (by 17.66%) had the highest frequency. This shows that the geographical environment, social system and life style play a crucial role in the formation of the schemas. Finally, I explained about twenty cases of themes in the proverbs by referring to their schematic workings. | Persian Abstract: | پژوهش حاضر در چارچوب معنی‌شناسی شناختی به موضوع طرح‌واره‌های تصویری در ضرب‌المثل‌های ترکی آذربایجانی می‌پردازد. جامعه‌ی آماری این پژوهش را ضرب‌المثل‌های جمع‌آوری‌شده از آذربایجان ایران به‌خصوص استان اردبیل توسط حاجی ستاری (1391) و نوین (1387)، و حجم نمونه را پیکره‌ای از 3200 ضرب‌المثل تشکیل می‌دهد که حاوی طرح‌واره‌های مختلف بوده‌اند. هدف از پژوهش حاضر، تجزیه و تحلیل ضرب‌المثل‌ها بر مبنای مدل طرح‌واره‌ای ایوانز و گرین (2006) و بررسی چگونگی عملکرد طرح‌واره‌ها و مفاهیم و مضامین آن‌هاست. این پژوهش به روش توصیفی – استقرایی انجام شده است. تحلیل‌های انجام‌شده بر روی داده‌ها نشان می‌دهد که انواع کلی طرح‌واره‌های ارائه‌شده از سوی ایوانز و گرین و نیز عمده زیرمجموعه‌های آن‌ها در ضرب‌المثل‌های مذکور یافت می‌شود. این طرح‌واره‌ها عبارت‌اند از: طرح‌واره‌ی فضا، طرح‌واره‌ی مهارشدگی، طرح‌واره‌ی جابجایی (حرکت)، طرح‌واره‌ی توازن، طرح‌واره‌ی نیرو، طرح‌واره‌ی پیوستگی، طرح‌واره‌ی همسانی و طرح‌واره‌ی موجودیت. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهند که طرح‌واره‌ی مهارشدگی با 29/25% و سپس طرح‌واره‌ی نیرو با 08/22% بالاترین درصد فراوانی را در ضرب‌المثل‌های ترکی آذربایجانی داشته‌اند. نیز، از آنجا که طرح‌واره‌های تصویری از تعامل انسان با جهان خارج پدید می‌آیند از طریق مفاهیم متفاوتی که در ارتباط با انسان است قابل شکل‌گیری هستند. مفهوم بدن با 34/18% و سپس مفهوم جانور با 66/17% بیشترین بسامد وقوع را در میان مفاهیم به کار رفته در پیکره‌ی ضرب‌المثل‌های حاوی طرح‌واره را اشغال کرده‌اند. این آمار نشان می‌دهد که موقعیت جغرافیایی، نظام اجتماعی و سبک زندگی می‌تواند در شکل‌گیری طرح‌واره‌ها نقش مهمی ایفا کند. همچنین در حدود بیست مورد از مضامین موجود در ضرب‌المثل‌های ترکی آذربایجانی بر اساس عملکرد طرح‌واره‌ای توجیه شدند. کلیدواژه‌ها: زبان‌شناسی شناختی، معنی‌شناسی شناختی، طرح‌واره‌ی تصویری، ضرب‌المثل، زبان ترکی آذربایجانی | ||||
