Abstract

Undoubtedly, the availability of relevant economic information in different areas is a prerequisite for the proper planning of each country's development. This research was carried out with the aim of recreational conservation valuation of the Andabil forest in Khalkhal city. Sampling method was performed using a questionnaire and ground survey. Hence, 384 questionnaires were distributed among visitors from the study area and then were collected after completion.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The results of the studies show that variables such as education level, gender, income and marriage have a significant effect on the willingness to pay visitors to the Andabil forest recreational area. Moreover, variable such as distance, environmental attitudes and bid prices also have a significant effect on the willingness to pay.In the whole Logit model, based on the maximum likelihood method, the willingness to pay each visitor was 54132 Rials.In a general conclusion, it can be argued that the requirement for optimal use of environmental resources is scientific and accurate planning, and that proper planning itself requires the valuation of environmental resources.
